Walking Connemara - Irish Landscape Metal Print
This Irish landscape metal print features a scene from my days walking in Connemara near Killary Fjord. In fact, that body of water you can see along the right is the fjord near the village of Leenane. Whether it's a natural harbor or a fjord depends on who you ask. But either way it was an enchanting piece of earth to roam. During my last days in nearby Galway I was looking for a chance to see some of the countryside and had no plans to drive. I found out I could take a bus tour that would leave me at a hostel near Killary for a couple of nights. It was unplanned but perfect. The chance to wander the Irish countryside and take in the views would have been perfect whether or not I had a camera with me. In fact, even in winter I was not alone out there taking in the sights, walking or otherwise.
I have been left with the desire every since to truly spend time Walking Connemara and likely more of Ireland. It's probably a daft dream but with vistas like this what a perfect reward? The road in this Irish landscape metal print will always call to me both in my memories and in a less literal sense. It's the road yet to be explored.
What attracts you to this scenic Connemara print? Does it bring back memories of Ireland for you as well? Or do you simply love landscape scenes?
