This London metal print features the Westminster Abbey West Towers. These old Medieval Gothic churches are truly the work of generations. King Henry III had the old Abbey church pulled down in 1245. The West Towers, however, weren't completed until 1745! There had already been restoration work done on other parts of Westminster Abbey in the intervening years. Even by Medieval standards that is a long time even for a building as grand as this one. That is to say it was not an active construction site for all those years.
I think one of the bigger achievements is that Westminster Abbey looks cohesive. The succession of builders that worked on the Abbey respected the original plans and each addition or restoration was made in an effort to be sympathetic with what had come before. And while the Abbey looks beautiful from all directions, it's the West Towers of Westminster Abbey that most caught my eye. The way the towers reach towards heaven, the rich details and symmetry. It's an amazing sight to see in person which I hope is captured in this London metal print. If you need a sense of scale, look at the people on the sidewalk going towards the entrance!

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
