Wicklow Head Lighthouse - 5x7 Ireland Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.

This original Ireland greeting card features a view of the 19th century Wicklow Head Lighthouse. Built in 1818, the light is still in active use but has been automated for decades. It was built to replace a pair of lighthouses that were built higher up on the headland in the 1700s.

The Wicklow Head lighthouse is depicted on a sunny morning with the rocky coast rising up from the waters of the Irish Sea. This rugged coast reminds me a lot of Ireland and Scotland as well. There's just something about it that feels ancient and storied, isn't there?

Wonderful Memories

I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Nostalgic Masterpiece

The Fox Theatre is Definitely FABULOUS! THIS BLACK AND WHITE VERSION GIVES EXTRA NOSTALGIA I believe, is why I picked this 1, though I love ALL OF Mark's pics of the Fox. The theatre is Beautiful, I went to 2 - 3 concerts there years ago & So glad it didn't get torn down. Mark captured Great details in this pic!!
