A World War II graveyard is the subject of this Cambridge American Cemetery greeting card. That field of crosses is a sobering reminder of the cost of war and the ultimate sacrifice so many made during World War II. Honestly before visiting Cambridge, I was unaware there was an American cemetery there but I was glad I learned about it and the chance to spend part of my day there.
And in the morning light those white crosses captured the light and made for a striking black and white image. I would love to hear what drew you to this greeting card depicting the Cambridge American Cemetery? Have you visited? Do you have family buried there? Or does it simply stir your soul a bit? Myself I am something of an armchair historian and this scene is a concrete reminder of the humanity at the heart of history. Our stories are more than a simple string of dates.

I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
